Role-playing games
Bingle graduated from the University of Chicago. In the late 1980s he was the top-ranked player in the Role-Playing Network, and his wife, Linda, was ranked number two. He is best known as the top-ranked player in the for most of the 1990s. The Bingles began the company 54°40' Orphyte to publish role-playing books, including two adventures for , and they also gave some support to the Timemaster line using tournaments.
